         <title>FREEZE GUIDE</title>
<description>Winter Guide forTexas Swimming Pool Cold Weather Care

** CAUTION ** Update: 1/21/2026 1/19/2025

WE ARE STRONGLY URGING DRAINING EQUIPMENT DUE TO HEAVY FREEZE PREDICTIONS WITH SLEET/SNOW ACCUMULATION.

IT IS NOT GOOD TO KEEP YOUR PUMP RUNNING IN ANY HEAVY FREEZE CONDITIONS
(see heavy freeze instructions below - do not run your heaters in freeze conditions)

Running pumps still froze up in the very mild 2024 freeze -water temps stayed above 50* and there was no rain or snow but equipment still froze up.

Multiple customers reported to us that their water circulation and pumps were freezing within just a few hours of temperatures getting below 32*.
Their pipes and pumps started freezing even though their pumps were running the whole time. Luckily, none of these customers suffered any major damage, but it was too late for 1 customer to drain their equipment as their drain plugs had already frozen over and water could not be drained. Take precautions early with predicted weather.

Our strongest recommendation for any prolonged hours of temperatures below "feels like" freezing (32* F) is to shut off power and drain equipment until danger of freeze has passed and you're certain ALL pipes and equipment have thawed completely.

We all learned too late from the 2021 big freeze that some homeowners running their pumps still had pipes/equipment freeze BEFORE the power went out, then it was too late to drain the plumbing and this caused major damage. It was not that the power company lost power, equipment had already froze up when we hit the 20's.

Keep in mind:

Being at 36* temperatures for several hours before temps drop to "feels like" 32* or below is a much bigger problem.

Being at 40* temps for several hours, then quickly dropping below 32* for just a couple of hours is much less problematic.

Temperature changes, rain, sleet, snow and wind chill are all last-minute issues that you need to judge when deciding the best way to protect your pool and equipment.

Your pool is exposed to the ambient temperatures and conditions very differently than your next-door neighbor and there is no one instruction for everyone.

Please follow our guidelines below to judge what you feel is best for your pool and predicted weather conditions.

IF TEMPERATURES WILL BE BELOW "FEELS LIKE" FREEZING (32*) FOR A PROLONGED AMOUNT OF TIME
FOLLOW STEPS 3-6, THEN 1-2 BELOW.
If there is any chance of losing electrical power and you can't keep pumps running in ANY freezing conditions (feels like 32*),
then it is best to follow steps 3-6, then 1-2 below.

Do not turn your pool heater on when temperatures are below 50*, this can damage your heater and void your warranty.

Keep in mind,

IF we get snow or rain, pool water temps can quickly drop below the 40's and that could be too cold if the air continues to stay below freezing (32 degrees). This will be cold enough to freeze pipes and equipment even with the pumps and heaters running.
If there is a chance of snow or rain during any freezing conditions, it is best to cover all equipment with cushions/cardboard insulation AND then place a WATERPRROF tarp over cushions, so tarp is not making contact with any equipment or plumbing.

If this extreme cold happens, it would be advisable to shut off all equipment, open filter air relief, open plumbing valves at least halfway and removedrain plugs (from heaters, pumps, chlorinators, salt cells, filters and filter valves)to allow as much water as possible to drain from above ground equipment and plumbing.

Pictures of Drain Plug locations for most equipment are at this link.

Everyone's instructions will not be the same.
We advise using our guidelines to decide what is best for your property based on what the "real" conditions look like for your property.

Covering your equipment and plumbing as described below is just a minimum precaution for freezing temperatures or with any chance or rain/sleet/snow during freeze conditions.

Please stay safe and warm!
Bill &amp; Renee

HEAVY DEEP FREEZE INSTRUCTIONS

AIRTEMPS BELOW "FEELS LIKE" 32* FOR EXTENDED HOURS
AND/OR WITH POSSIBLE RAIN, SLEET OR SNOW:
Follow steps 3-6, then steps 1-2.

3.TURN OFF Main Power To Pump(S).
So Pump Will Not Automatically Turn On Until You Manually Turn It Back On.

4. Open Filter Air Relief Valve(S).

5. Remove Pump Strainer Pot Lid(s).
Loosely set them back in place to keep rain/snow accumulation from getting in pots.

6.Open ALLdrain relief plugson pumps, valves, heater, filter, filter valves, chlorinator, and salt cells to allow water to drain out and make air gap room for any frozen water expansion.
Drain relief plug locations will be different for every make and model equipment.

Here is a link to the general locations ofdrain plugs:
Pumps- 1 or 2 (usually thumb) drain plugs will be located at the bottom of pump housing either in the front or on the side of pump.
Filter-
a.Air relief is located on top of filter and should have a pressure gauge attached to it.
b.The 1.5" filter drain plug will be located at the bottom of the filter close to the ground, either in the front or on the backside of the filter.
Channel lock pliers will help make this removal the easiest.
Filter Valve- 1 plug - Usually needs a flat head screwdriver or socket wrench to remove.
Heater- Depending on model of heater it may have 1 or 2 drain plugs.
a. On the plumbing side - the drain plug will be located on the lower part of the header where the pipes go into the header.
b.On the opposite side of plumbing - the drain plug will be located on the return header which is usually behind a small removable access panel.
c. Some model Raypak heaters will have a clear Protek shield under the header where the plumbing attaches to the heater instead of a drain plug.
To remove: Take off wing nut and disconnect ground wire. Unscrew the clear Protek shield.

IF PUMPS ARE INOPERABLE DURING LIGHT FREEZE CONDITIONS LASTING MORE THAN 4-6** HOURS:
- Follow steps 3-6, then 1-2.
Do not turn pumps back on until everything is completely defrosted and all freeze dangers have passed.
(** If we have a HEAVIER freeze then follow these steps if freeze will last more than an hour)

*Once your water freezes in the pipes or equipment it is too late to effectively drain all the water out.

SHORT TERM FREEZE ONLY - FREEZE PREPARATION ADVICE IS AS FOLLOWS:
During All Short Term Cold Temperatures Below 38* Or With A Slight Chance Of Freezing Temperatures:

-KEEP ALL PUMPS RUNNING CONTINUOUSLYso the warmer pool water (50-60 degrees) will circulate and not allow water in equipment or plumbing to freeze.
- For variable speed pumps, make sure they are not running on low speed when the cleaner booster pump is running.
- Variable speed pumps should have a temperature sensor that will make sure the pump runs at a minimum speed to keep the computer from freezing.
- 38 degrees with a wind chill can create freezing conditions of below 32 degrees.
-If freezing temperatures, snow, rain will be for more than a few hours follow heavy freeze directions above:

KEEP ALL WATER PUMPS RUNNING UNTIL DANGER OF FREEZE PASSES.

IF SMALL AMOUNTS OF SNOW OR FREEZING RAINSARE EXPECTED:

1.Place cardboard or seat cushionson top of equipment and plumbing.

 2.Looselycover equipment with aWATERPROOFtarp.
DO NOT USE ANY TARP THAT IS NOT WATERPROOF, IT WILL FREEZE AROUND EQUIPMENT.
Make sure tarp is not in direct contact with pumps, equipment or plumbing, using blankets and cushions as a spacer between tarp and plumbing.
*** IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOUDON'T PLACE ANYTHING MAKING CONTACT WITH THE MOTORS,
SO THE AIR CAN CIRCULATE AND NOT OVERHEAT THE MOTOR.
Lay the tarp to prevent puddling snow or ice that will sit directly on top of the equipment or plumbing.

Turning On Swimming Pool Pumps After Freeze

How to turn your pump(s) on:

Automatic Remote Systems

These systems should already be programmed to turn ALL your pumps on anytime the air temperature drops below 38.
If all pumps do not come on, or you cannot turn them on from your indoor controller, then:

1. Go to outside Control Panel.

2. Place Controller into "Service" Mode.

3. Turn on All pumps (Filter, Cleaner, Fountains, Etc.)

4. After Freeze Danger - turn outside control back to "Auto" mode.
*Remember, if you turn pump on or off from inside controller, then the scheduled programming will take over control turning on or off at the next scheduled time.
To avoid this, you will have to put controller into "Service" mode as stated in 1-4 above.

Manual Time Clocks

If you do not have a freeze protector installed on all pumps, then you will have to switch each pump on before any freeze dangers (temps less than 38 is standard) At pumps controlled by Mechanical Timers:

1. At each timer: Slide Switch(s) to "ON" positions and pump(s) should come on.

2. If needed: Loosen and Remove "OFF" Trip Switches on Timer Dial so pump(s) will stay on.

3. After Freeze Danger - Replace "OFF" Trip Switches on Timer Dial.

4. Adjust Timer Dials to Correct Times by Pulling Outward on Dial and Rotate to Correct time.

5. Check that dial feels like it seated properly back down into the gears.

If one of the trip switches is near the current time indicator (the silver marker pointing downward from center of dial), you may have to offset the dial or the trip switch to move dial.

Variable Speed Pumps -VS pumps should be automatically protected to run a minimum speed to keep motor and computer warm.
1. If VS pump is not running at any time during freezing temperatures then it may need to be manually operated to run continuously at 2000-2400 rpm.
2. Make sure VS pump is running at least 2400 rpm when the cleaner booster pump is running.

If at any time pumps need to be turned off the remainder of the cold weather, we advise turning off all electric breakers to pool equipment to power everything down.

* At All Times Of The Year, If You Notice Any Equipment Not Working Properly:Turn Off Power To Equipment And Contact our office For Additional Service.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email us at:EspoPools@gmail.com

We make every effort to help everyone as quickly as we can.

If your pool pumps are shut down, keep them off until all freeze dangers have passed.
Please follow this advice for checking and restarting your swimming pool after freeze conditions are over.

         <title>Average Cost to Renovate A Pool</title>
         <description>

Average Cost to Renovate a Pool: A Comprehensive Guide

Are you planning to rejuvenate your swimming pool with fresh plaster? Pool plastering not only enhances the aesthetics of your pool but depending on your material selections it can play a crucial role in its longevity and daily maintenance costs. One of the most important questions pool owners have is, "How much will it cost me?" Understanding the costs involved can help you budget effectively for your pool renovation project.

What Does Re-Plastering Involve?

Before diving into costs, it is essential to understand what pool plastering entails. Pool plaster is a water-resistant layer applied to the pool's interior, providing a comfortable, durable surface for swimmers. Over time, the plaster can wear out due to constant exposure to chemicals, water, and weather conditions. Replastering is necessary to maintain the pool's integrity, prevent leaks, and keep it looking its best.

Factors Affecting the Cost to Plaster a Pool

The cost varies greatly depending on several factors:

Plaster Preparation: One of the reasons for plaster failure is due to companies that do not prep your pool to industry standards. Some of these steps are not done properly or not at all and are the biggest reasons pools need to be replastered before their normal life expectancy. An improperly prepped pool can lead to a much more expensive replaster when it you have to replaster again. Prepping correctly is the main difference between companies that try to offer lower prices.
Pool Size and Shape: Larger pools require more materials and labor, increasing the overall cost. Uniquely shaped pools may also cost more due to the complexity of the plastering process.
Type of Plaster: Basic white plaster is the most affordable option, but you can also choose from premium finishes like quartz, pebble, or polished aggregate. The material you choose has a significant impact on the cost.
Location: The cost of plastering a pool can vary depending on your geographic location. Areas with higher living costs or limited availability of skilled labor may see higher plastering prices.
Condition of the Existing Pool Surface: If your pool’s surface has extensive damage, such as cracks or large chips, repairing it before plastering will add to the cost.
Additional Features: Custom features like steps, benches, spas, tile work, mosaics, or waterline finishes can increase the price.

Breakdown of Average Costs of Pool Plaster and Their Life Expectancies

Let’s explore the estimated costs involved in pool plastering.

Standard White Plaster: Typically ranges from $4,000 to $5,500 for a standard-sized pool. Standard white plaster is not manufactured as strong as it used to be 20 years ago and it’s life expectancy is much less. Due to it being the softest and most porous plaster it can start showing signs of aging between 2-5 years, early or later depending on water quality.
Upgraded White Plaster: High quality white plaster typically ranges from $5,000 to $6,500 for a standard-sized pool. High-grade plaster is durable and provides a clean, classic look. This plaster can have a 5–7-year manufacturer's warranty when applied by an authorized company with life expectancies of 15-18 years.
Quartz Finishes: Quartz is an entry price into exposed aggregate finishes. If you opt for a quartz finish, you can expect to pay between $6,000 and $10,000. Quartz finishes offer multiple color options but due to their exposure are rougher than a troweled finish. Maintenance, brushing, chemicals and water circulation are all increased due to the increased surface area of the exposed rougher aggregate. Quartz plasters can have 10-year manufacture warranties when applied by an authorized company with life expectancies of 10-15 years.
Pebble Finishes: Pebble plaster finishes offer a textured, natural look and are more durable over quartz finishes. The average cost to plaster a pool with pebble finishes is typically around $8,000 to $14,000. This finish can last longer than quartz finishes with proper maintenance, making it a long-term investment. Maintenance, brushing, chemicals and water circulation are the highest with pebble finishes due to the highly increased surface area of the exposed textured aggregate. Pebble plasters can have a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty when applied by an authorized company with life expectancies of 15-18 years.
Polished Aggregate Finishes: Polished plasters are the smoothest and most durable of plasters. This option can cost you between $8,000 and $14,000. Polished aggregate finishes offer an elegant look and increased durability with the longest life expectancy. Polished plasters can be polished up to 2-3 times in their lifetime and make them the best option for the longest-term applications. Polished plasters can have up to a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty when applied by an authorized company and have a life expectancy of 25 years or more.

Additional Costs to Consider

Repairs: If your pool requires significant repairs before plastering, this can add $1,000 to $3,000+ to the overall cost, depending on the extent of the damage.
Tile &amp; Coping Work: If you are replacing your tile and coping, this can add$2,500 to $8,000+to the overall cost, depending on the amount of materials and their costs.
Drain and Refill: You will need to refill your pool before and after the plastering process, which could add a few hundred dollars to your budget, depending on local water costs. Do not drain your pool in wet conditions and holes MUST be put in the pool as soon as it is drained.

Is Pool Plastering Worth It?

The initial investment in plastering may seem high, but it is essential for maintaining your pool’s functionality and aesthetics. Regular maintenance, including resurfacing with high-quality plaster, structural damage, and costly repairs down the line. Moreover, updating your pool with a new plaster finish can significantly enhance its visual appeal and increase your property’s value.

Conclusion

The average cost to plaster a pool can vary significantly depending on the size of your pool, the type of plaster you choose, and other additional factors. For a standard-sized pool, you can expect to spend between $4,000 and $14,000 depending on the finish. Investing in high-quality plaster and proper maintenance can extend the life of your pool, keeping it beautiful and functional for years to come.

If you are considering plastering your pool, be sure to consult with us for details that will matter to you and only a few companies will take the time to talk to you about the key details of the materials you are choosing. Ultimately, the cost is a worthwhile investment to ensure your swimming pool remains a comfortable, inviting, functional, and safe space for you and your family.

With this guide, you now have a comprehensive understanding of the average cost to plaster a pool and the factors influencing the price.

There is a lot of maintenance involved in owning a swimming pool no matter what size the pool is and where you live. While a pool owner may do all of the work to keep a pool well maintained, there will be times when a pool will need repairs.

Everyone wants to save money in whatever task they do, hence, swimming pool repair job is no different. So, check out these tips to reduce your pool maintenance costs.

TIPS TO SPEND LESS ON SWIMMING POOL REPAIR &amp; MAINTENANCE

HIRE A REPUTABLE COMPANY – By hiring a reputable swimming pool repair and maintenance company, you are taking a step forward to maintain your pool, which is otherwise a difficult task if done on an individual basis. Allowing chlorine levels to dip too drastically will allow algae to begin to grow. Levels that are too high can result in chemical burns and itching eyes. Your pool filter should be cleaned and replaced at regular intervals to help it continue functioning at its best. The team of experts of Esposito Pools is knowledgeable in all aspects of swimming pool repair and maintenance needs. Allow us to reduce some of these stress-inducing things and call our professionals to keep your pool repaired and maintained.

CLEAN &amp; MONITOR YOUR POOL FILTER – Pool pumps use a significant amount of electricity. You can enjoy clean water and smaller electric bills by limiting the amount of time that your pool pump runs. In most cases, four hours per day is enough to maintain optimal water quality. It will help you save money by running your pump for limited time period. On a regular basis keep monitoring all your pool equipment to get small repairs done on time, so that you can avoid costly repairs later on.

POOL COVER – KEEP THE MAINTENANCE COST LOW – A pool cover is also an excellent way to keep the pool maintenance costs low. Having a pool cover that fits properly and used appropriately can help reduce the number of those pesky “love bugs” from getting in. Once you start seeing them flying around ensure that your pool is properly covered, and if you happen to neglect, they will be everywhere. It will also keep leaves, grass and even tiny little objects, which create the most hindrances in the proper functioning, away from your pool.

Regular pool maintenance is very much vital for the proper functioning of your pool. Being the most trusted pool repair company in Cypress, Esposito Pools can help you keep your pool well-maintained. We will handle all your repair needs, from top to bottom with utmost care and perfection.

         <title>POOL FLOODING</title>
<description>IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DON'T DRAIN WATER FROM YOUR POOL DURING HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING CONDITIONS.
Lowering your pool's water level will not have any related impact on the height of the water level in your backyard. Your backyard has moving water flowing through it and even taking 15,000 gallons of water from it will have not impact on the water flowing into your backyard behind it.

The amount of water you remove is extremely small compared to the amount of rushing water that is associated with flooding conditions in your backyard and property.

Any amount of water you remove from your pool will be filled back up within moments when your backyard breaches over your pools edge.

Pool pumps also do not move enough water to drain water fast enough to lower your backyard water level.

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER:
DO NOT EVER GO OUT IN THE RAIN OR FLOODING CONDITIONS TO TURN YOUR PUMPS ON OR OFF. USE YOUR MAIN BREAKERS OR INDOOR CONTROLLERS TO TURN EQUIPMENT OFF OR ON.

POOL PUMPS ARE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE VERY WET GROUND AND THE ELECTRICITY IS BONDED TO THE GROUND BACK TOWARD THE POOL.

ANY WATER THAT GETS INTO THE MOTOR HOUSING CAN BE VERY FATAL TO ANYONE AROUND THE EQUIPMENT.

* Remember to keep the sides of your house/gates open so that backyard water can easily flow to the front.

03/19/2021

EMAIL COMMUNCATION ONLY

Thank you to all of you who have kept all communication to email and allowing us at least 24-48 hours to answer.
We are calling customers back as we have an updated status or if we need to discuss any details.
Otherwise you should receive an email response acknowledging your email within 24-48 hours.
The amount of time we are spending talking to manufactures, distributors and our repair technicians is continuous all day long.
Please continue to keep ALL communication to strictly email, as phone calls and texts slow down the vast tasks we and all other companies are working on for everyone.
ESPOPOOLS@GMAIL.COM

POOL SANITATION

Swimming Pool water temperatures have risen into the low 70's, just a couple of weeks after being in the 30's.
We can certainly expect that water temperatures will rise much more before enough parts are available to complete all repairs.
Water temperatures higher than 65 are not ideal for stagnant water and please follow our advice for pool care at the bottom of this page to keep your pool healthy.

REPAIR STATUS

The whole industry is out of stock on many of the parts that were damaged during the freeze. This mainly includes Plumbing Parts, Chlorinators, Valves, Pumps, Motors and Heaters. After a meeting with some manufactures last week, the industry is in short supply of the carbon plastic needed to make most of the higher quality parts and.we were told that it will be 2-6 months before supplies are restocked back to normal levels on some items.

Daily our distributors get some deliveries. We check for new deliveries daily at distributors and we are spending much time driving to Clear Lake, Woodlands and Katy to get only 1 or 2 parts as they arrive. When the parts come in, we are doing the repairs in order based on what parts we have available for each job.

However, due to limited availability of high demand parts, the industry is only selling each company a very small quantity (1or 2 parts) each day. In most cases, we have to collect parts over several days and many trips to have all the parts needed to do one repair. We have an extensive list of items we need for everyone and we are working diligently to take care of our valued customers as quickly as we can get the parts needed for your repair.

We are doing our very best to keep repair costs below our normal charges due to the unexpected expenses we all have faced.

PUMPS

Single-speed and 2-speed pumps are now out of inventory and most manufacturers stopped making them back in January (due to the federal regulations and their federal requirement to only sell Variable Speed pumps. As an authorized Centerpoint Installer, this is actually good for the homeowner since we can program your VS pump to save you $600- $800 dollars per year. We can also get you qualified for below market rates to save you hundreds and thousands more on your home electricity in addition to your pump savings.

HEATERS

From day one we informed customers that we would not be doing any heater repairs that were damaged from the freeze and that in most cases our best advise is installing a new heater. Due to the fact that the internal &amp; thin copper parts of the heater are more delicate than the headers, it is unavoidable that the internals of the heater did not also get weakened or damaged. Too many people have done repairs to stop leaks only to find that the heaters have major failure or heat exchangers are busting after they use their heater. Some manufactures have now changed from advising repairs to only doing complete heater replacements on freeze damaged heaters.
Due to the extended length of time that it may take to get all the heaters in that are needed for all the repairs, some properties we may have to bypass the heater to get your filtration system up and running. We are making these decisions with homeowners consent.

ALL OTHER PARTS

We are working hard to get all the parts needed for the repairs needed.

POOL CARE

It is vital that you maintain your chlorine level above 3ppm and keep pool cleaned and serviced even if your pump can not be turned on.
If you are a weekly service customer we are doing most of this work, but it's important to keep up with the pool between our visits with brushing or adding additional shock to keep chlorine above 3ppm.
If you maintain your own pool, also keep chlorine levels above 3ppm and remove debris and brush frequently.

<title>Turning on Swimming Pool Pumps After Freeze</title>
<description> How To Turn Your Swimming Pool Pump Back on After a Freeze

Be certain there is no ice in any equipment or plumbing.
If you see any ice around your property (frost/ice on roofs, ice on ground, gutters or cars) it is safer to wait before starting your pumps.
If you had ice on your property, your pool water temperature will be low and it will be fine to leave all equipment off while waiting for repairs.

Before Beginning Pool Pump Start-up

Thoroughly check all above ground equipment and plumbing for any visible cracks or damage.

If you see any damage, stop and call your pool professional, do not attempt to restart system.
Email us for any needed repairs (with pics if possible) to email:
Pool77095@sbcglobal.net

A cracked filter or damaged plumbing can explode due to highly compressed air and will be a lethal projectile.
Always go to your equipment manufacturer's website and follow their general safety instructions for starting equipment.

All plumbing repairs should wait until temperatures are steadily above 50* before being made.
In times of wide spread damages we will schedule repairs by priority when temperatures are ideal for gluing plumbing.

Turning Your Pool Equipment Back On After A Freeze

1.If you removed drain plugs:
A. Lubricate drain plug o-rings with swimming pool lubricant, if you have any.
B. Re-install all drain plugs back on pumps, heater and filter. Do not overtighten.

2. Lubricate pump pot lid o-rings with swimming pool lubricant if you have any.
Be sure all o-rings are clean of any lint or debris, leave lid off pump until filled with water.

3. Fill pump pot with water, pot strainer basket should be left in pot.
Add enough water to pump pot that it water will overflow out the suction pipe to help fill some of the air gaps in underground plumbing.

4. Install pump lid back on pump pot, making sure lid o-ring does not come out of position.
Do not overly tighten pump pot lid. "Finger" tightening lid should be tight enough, there is no need to "hand" over-tighten lid.

4. Make sure filter air relief is open.

5. Turn pump on, then quickly move far away from pool equipment.

6. Immediately move out of sight of pool equipment and safely away from any flying debris if anything explodes.
Yearly people are killed by exploding pool equipment after doing routine maintenance to their equipment.

Please stay far away and out of sight from equipment while pump is forcing highly compressed air out of the system.

7. You will start to hear air being forced out of the filter air relief valve.
If you're only hearing air coming out of filter air relief valve, wait until all air is gone before returning to equipment, sometimes this can take a few minutes.
If there is allot of air in the plumbing it may take longer to prime.

* After a few minutes if you are not hearing any air coming out of filter air relief,
thenturn pump off and repeat steps 3-7.
If pump will not prime after multiple attempts, please email us:
Pool77095@sbcglobal.net

8. Wait until you only hear water spraying out of filter air relief valve and it will now be safe to look back at equipment.
From a distance, visually confirm only water is coming out of air relief valve, then close filter air relief.

9. Check equipment for any smaller leaks or additional damage.
Your system is now primed and can run on your normal schedule.
Your cleaner pump (if you have one) will not need to be primed.
Repeat these instructions for any other pumps that also need to be primed.

10. Check equipment status regularly for the next few hours and days for leaks or additional signs of damage.

11. Report any issues directly to our email (with pictures if possible):

         <title>POOL FREEZE PROTECTION GUIDE</title>
<description>Winter Guide forTexas Swimming Pool Cold Weather Care

** CAUTION ** Update: 1/20/2026 1/19/2025

WE ARE STRONGLY URGING DRAINING EQUIPMENTDUE TO HEAVY FREEZE PREDICTIONS WITH SLEET/SNOW ACCUMULATION.

IT IS NOT GOOD TO KEEP YOUR PUMP RUNNING IN ANYHEAVY FREEZECONDITIONS

SHORT TERM FREEZE ONLY- FREEZE PREPARATION ADVICE IS AS FOLLOWS:

IF SMALL AMOUNTS OFSNOW OR FREEZING RAINSARE EXPECTED:
